Gerald has a special place in our hearts.I knew him in two ways, as a friend and in business. He truely cared about others and was someone you knew would be there in time of need. Gerald took good care of his friends as well as people in need.
Helping others carried over into his professions and hobbies. He served the comminity in many ways. He was a true humanitarian.
In our business transactions,Gerald was always honest and extremely trustworthy. All of our crew looked foreward to his visits. Our hearts ache over his loss and our prayers go out to his family, friends and the community.

To the Burke family; you have my deepest sympathys, Gerald was one of a kind person, and will be greatly missed. Gerald was in some of my classes at Swiss Hills he never knew a stranger and was always friendly and kind to everyone, and best of all the class clown making everyone smile. Barb, Zac & Kate,
A Note From Heaven
If I could write from heaven this is what I'd say,
Please don't miss me too much,I'm with you throughout the day.
You may not see or hear me,but if you're quiet and still,You may just feel my presence; because in Heaven, there is free will.
Don't worry for the day, it will come and go as planned, Enjoy each moment you are given, keep worry from your hand.
Keep sorrow to a minimum; For if Heaven you could see,
You'd know I'm safe and happy, I did not cease to be.
Moments in time are brief, until we'll be together again, as Eternity last forever, our lives, they have no end.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Such a short time it is that we have known Gerald and his family, but they have taken us under their wings. A kinder man no one could ever find. His work ethic, his sense of humor and his love for his family and friends was known to all who met him.

We will miss our brother and pray for GOD's peace to fill your hearts as you remember him. May GOD hold you in the palm of his hand and comfort you today and always.

Gerald was always such a fun loving guy in High School. He was always so nice to me. He had alot of energy and was always upbeat, always joking around. I remember Fridays at school, he'd have his football jersey on, and he was always so proud. I will miss him so much!!

I was very sad to hear the news of Gerald. The Burke family is a wonderful, strong family and always been great. Growing up with his sister Charlotte. Gerald wrote and talked to me frequently on the phone, while I was in the Army Stationed in Arizona and even met me at the Phoenix airport between flights to spend some time hanging out together and talking prior to going overseas. A really great guy!

On one of the darkest days of my life the lord sent Gerald and Luke to take care of my mother and myself. They were both angels that truely made a horrible day better. Although I only met him that horrible day he will never be forgotten for all he did for us. I know Gerald is with the Angels. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.
