Marvin F. Walters, 67, of 47571 Moore Ridge Rd., Woodsfield, Ohio (formerly of Cleveland, Ohio) died at 4 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

He was born at Altoona, Pennsylvania on January 25, 1944 a son of the late Marvin Walters and Margaret Wilson.

Marvin was a former construction worker and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Cleveland, Ohio.

Surviving are his former wife, Laura Walters of Salem, Arkansas, one daughter, Rebecca Walters, one son, Christopher Walters, both of North Royalton, Ohio, one sister, Linda Tripp of Stafford, Virginia and several grandchildren.

Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.

Marvin stayed at the Freese Houne for a year. He was a very kind man to all here. We send you are prays and comfort on your loss.

I consider myself a friend of Marvin Walters. I road with John Freese to pick up Marvin, and helped him relocate in Medina. He was very supportive of the Liberty House, and he was fun to be with. I'll miss him and his good nature.
