           Vivian E. Cline Marshall Piatt, 88, of Graysville, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

          She was born near Lebanon, Ohio on March 12, 1929 a daughter of the late Lawrence and Inez Hilverding Cline.

          She was a former telephone switchboard operator for Ohio Bell, Marietta, Ohio; former sales clerk at Sutherland Valley Western Shop near Lewisville, Ohio and was also a former clerk for Bethel Township Trustees.  She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, Lebanon, Ohio. Vivian was an avid cookie jar collector, enjoyed quilting, crocheting and enjoyed announcing at pony pulls.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Marshall; a son, Bruce Marshall; a brother Warren Cline.

          Surviving are husband, Gary E. Piatt whom she married on November 10, 1984; one daughter, Beverly (Gary) Armstrong of Sycamore Valley, Ohio; one son, Jeff (Carol) Marshall of Sycamore Valley, Ohio; one step-daughter Melissa Morris of Millersburg, Ohio; one step-son Doug Piatt of Harrisville, West Virginia; one brother, Ralph (Kaye) Cline of Marietta, Ohio; a former daughter-in-law- Darlene Minosky of Caldwell, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Wilma Cline of Marietta, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Eric Marshall, Amber West, Nicole Hesson, Tiffany Howard, Whitney Marshall, Hannah Piatt, and Alyx Morris; seven great grandchildren.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 with Rev. Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
