     Robert “Bob” R. Westfall, 88, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia.

          He was born near Spencer, West Virginia on June 1, 1929 a son of the late Virgil and Vandena Ashley Westfall.

          Bob was a retired contractor for the Sun Oil Company and was a self-employed farmer and contractor. He was a Methodist by faith and enjoyed hunting, trapping, his farm, his family, and was always willing to help others. Bob always took pride in his work and had a lot of patience in anything he did.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Epling and a brother, A.C. Westfall.

          Surviving are his wife, Tressa L. Matics Westfall whom he married on January 29, 1950; two sons, Robert Dean (Becky) Westfall of Beallsville, Ohio, Kevin (Janet) Westfall of Woodsfield, Ohio; one brother, Kelsie Westfall of Beallsville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Lindsay (Roger) Summit of Carey, Ohio, Caleb (Hannah) Westfall of Woodsfield, Ohio.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2017 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 with Tim Fleeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, Ohio.
