Vivian M. Ash-Wells, 65, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at her home.
She was born at New Martinsville, West Virginia on June 27, 1958 a daughter of the late Kermit Warren Ash and Shirley Marie Wright Ash.
She was a graduate of Marietta College with a degree in journalism. She was a former assistant manager for Shoe World in New Martinsville, West Virginia and a former employee for Mor 4 Less in Woodsfield, Ohio. Vivian was also a former customer service representative for Safe Auto, Woodsfield, Ohio and then retired.
She was a member of the Unity Baptist church near Antioch, Ohio and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lodge 268, Woodsfield, Ohio.
Vivian also enjoyed bowling when she was able.
Surviving are her husband, William “Bill” Wells whom she married on August 4, 1990; one son, Nathaniel Wells and his companion, Amber Fluharty of Woodsfield, Ohio; one brother, Douglas Warren Ash of Woodfield, Ohio; one grandson, Waylon Warren Wells.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 with Pastor Mark Zimmer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, Ohio.
Eastern Star services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
