Donald Lee Kilburn, 90, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his home.
He was born near Lewisville, Ohio on December 10, 1931 a son of the late Freeman and Grace Todd Kilburn.
He was a former employee of Monroe Feed and was a founding partner of Vali-Hi Farms near Lewisville, Ohio. He was also an owner/operator of Don Kilburn Trucking and he was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War.
He was a former supervisor for Monroe Soil & Water Conservation District for 12 years and he was a 20 year advisor for 4-H in Monroe County.
Don enjoyed traveling the 50 states of the United States, fishing, hunting, watching his kids and grandkids playing sports, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Harold Kilburn; his brother-in-law Neil Christman; his daughter-in-law Darlene Kilburn and a Sister-in-law,Dorothy Kilburn.
Surviving are his wife, of 69 years Mary Judith “Judy” Christman Kilburn whom he married on June 20, 1953; one daughter, Amber (Tom) Ramage of Lewisville, Ohio; four sons, Kim (Bonnie) Kilburn of Woodsfield, Ohio; Stephen Kilburn and companion Carolyn Johnson of Lewisville, Ohio; Blake (Sandy) Kilburn of Lewisville, Ohio; Aaron (Melissa) Kilburn of Lewisville, Ohio; one brother, Dale Kilburn of Lewisville, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Alberta Kilburn of Arizona; Judy Kilburn of Florida; one brother-in-law Larry (Barbara) Christman of Stafford, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Summer (Scott) Welch; Brandi (Ryan) Loch; Preston (Brittany) Kilburn; Shantel (Dereck) Zwick; Beth (Tyler) Knowlton; Morgan (Mark) Poppel; Samantha (Michael) Habig; Dalton Ramage; Chandler (Angelle) Kilburn; Justin Kilburn; Alex Kilburn; nineteen great grandchildren and one on the way, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Burial will follow in the Middle Church Cemetery near Lewisville, Ohio.
