Rickey A. Wise

          Rickey A. Wise, 25, of Beallsville, Ohio (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

          He was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on December 11, 1993 a son of Greg and Teresa DeJesus Wise who survive of Woodsfield, Ohio.

          Rickey was employed as a deckhand for Imperial River Transport, Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania and was a volunteer fireman for the Beallsville Volunteer Fire Department, Beallsville, Ohio. He attended the East Sunsbury Baptist Church near Beallsville, Ohio.

          Rickey loved his family especially his children. He enjoyed watching the Monroe Central Seminole Football team and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox Fan.

          He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Knott and an uncle, Joey Seidler.

          Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Abigail Rufener Wise whom he married on November 28, 2018; one daughter, Lillian Sophia Wise of Beallsville, Ohio; one son, Clayton Eric-Lee Wise of the home; two sisters, Destiny Wise of Woodsfield, Ohio, Rae Lacey Wise of Woodsfield, Ohio; one brother, Joey Wise of Woodsfield, Ohio; two half-brothers, Shawn Gant, Devon Gant, both of Ravenna, Ohio; one nephew, Foster Wise of Woodsfield, Ohio; grandparents, Dorothy DeJesus, Betty Manley, Gary and Cheryl Wise, Rhonda McKeneree; several aunts, uncles and cousins including Krisstina DeJesus.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 with Pastor Jeff Horner officiating. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
