Dear Steve, Jamie, Tammy, and families,
We are thinking of you as you mourn the loss of your Dad, Grandpa and more. I have many fond memories of Snide, or Maytag as he often referred to himself and then told the agitator joke. My earliest memory was when I was young and went to the farm for the annual summer chicken barbeque.
I remember thinking he might have been the funniest man I had ever met. But my real love for Snide came from when I knew him as Grandpa to many of my students. My free period was last thing of the day, so I was usually in the office when he came in and got in line to pick up one or more of the grandkids at school. I loved visiting with him. God be with you all as you lay your dear one to rest. Love Bart & Joyce Wiggins

Jamie and family,

I was saddened to hear of your dad’s passing. He always had a smile on his face and a very kind heart. “Every time I ran into him, he’d say, Hey Maytag! How are you?” I’m sure he said that to a lot of people. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you🙏🏻
