          Darrell L. Scott, 57, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his home.

          He was born in Marietta, Ohio on December 14, 1960 a son of the late Raymond and Martha Farnsworth Scott.

          Darrell was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed construction, fishing, and woodworking.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Scott.

          Surviving are his former wife Kris Ogden of Woodsfield, Ohio; one daughter, Cassandra (Brian) Harrigan of Woodsfield, Ohio; three sons, Jeremy (Amanda) Kinney of Woodsfield, Ohio, Joshua (April) Kinney of Woodsfield, Ohio, Patrick (Brooke) Scott of Lewisville, Ohio; three sisters, Marlene (Steve) Becker of Dart, Ohio, twin sister, Darlene (Mike) Bennett of St. Mary’s, West Virginia, Ruth (Pat) Kiggans of New Matamoras, Ohio; four brothers, Danny (Mary Kay) Scott of Woodsfield, Ohio, Jeff (Toni) Scott of New Matamoras, Ohio, Randy Scott of Belmont, West Virginia, Brady (Shay) Scott of St. Mary’s, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; two uncles; and several nieces and nephews.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 with Joshua Kinney officiating.

          Interment will follow at the convenience of the family.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I really got to know Darrell when he added on the room at my Dad's. He was funny, liked to tease, and helped many people. May God wrap his arms around all of and bring peace and comfort during these difficult days.
