          Ruby M. Martin, 94, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Westwood Place, Woodsfield, Ohio.

          She was born near Stafford, Ohio on March 16, 1924 a daughter of the late James Carlos and Minnie Needs Luburgh.

          Ruby was a retired cook for the Switzerland of Ohio School District and was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio.

          She enjoyed gardening, listening to music and working around the house.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Martin on June 11, 2010; an infant son, James Martin; three sisters, Virginia Devore, Ruth Camden, and Betty June Luburgh; and a brother, James Richard Luburgh.

          Surviving are two daughters, Kay Lynn (Frank) Davis of Belpre, Ohio, Barbara (James Eric) Shaw of Jacksonville, North Carolina; two sons, David (Jeannie) Martin of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Don Martin of New Martinsville, West Virginia; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 with Sam Bartrug officiating.

          Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.

Martin Family, my deepest sympathy on the passing of Mrs. Martin. She was such a kind sweet lady-who always dresses very nicely. I am sorry I was unable to make it to the funeral home, but please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace great memories.
