     Kenneth E. Piatt, 72, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at his home.

     He was born near Lewisville, Ohio on February 26, 1946 a son of the late Hershel and Mildred Springer Piatt.

     He began his career in woodworking at an early age at the Smithberger Sawmill then later worked as a carpenter for various contractors in the area.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Cecil, Guy, and Carl Piatt; and a brother-in-law David Weddle.

     Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Lena Howell Piatt of Woodsfield, Ohio; one daughter, Tina (Kalen) Safreed of Sardis, Ohio; one son, Gary (Judy) Piatt of Lewisville, Ohio; one brother, Harley (Garnet) Piatt of Lewisville, Ohio; one sister, Bonnie Weddle of Curtice, Ohio; four grandchildren, Gary (Bre) Piatt Jr., Kyle (Brittany) Piatt, Kaleigh and Kynzie Safreed; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Ryder, Audrianna, and Mason.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 with Brent Roth officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.

I'm so sorry for your loss Kenny, Dad and Carol are having a reunion of their own we miss them so much, knowing they are together again brings us peace.
