     Donald Ray Taylor, 85, of Caldwell, Ohio (formerly of Lewisville, Ohio) passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell, Ohio.

     He was born near St. Clairsville, Ohio on August 17, 1933 a son of the late Oscar and Vesta McAllister Taylor.

     Don was a retired laborer and U.S. Army veteran.

     Surviving are four sisters, Nancy Anderson of Bellaire, Ohio, Joan Rouse of Columbus, Ohio, Brenda Sutton of Norwalk, Ohio, Ruth Warfield of Massillon, Ohio; one brother, Jerry Taylor of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lewis Taylor, Helen McCort, Mary Hay, and Beverly Reynolds.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 1:00 p.m. until time of military services at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019.

     Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.

I have very fond memories of this gentle man and this wonderful family. One thing I didn't realize is that Don had been in the military. Thank you Don for your service. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. RIP Don until we meet again on that beautiful shore.
