Audrey Ann Kuebel

     Audrey Ann Kuebel, 81, of Sardis, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her home.

     She was born near Sardis, Ohio on July 27, 1941 a daughter of the late Clarence and Marie Brown Smittle.

     She was a retired supervisor for the Ohio Unemployment Office, Columbus, Ohio. She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 7730, Duffy, Ohio.

     Audrey enjoyed making ceramics, baking, cooking and most especially gambling.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded by three brothers, Clyde, Ralph and Jim Smittle.

     Surviving are her husband, Thomas Kuebel whom she married on May 27, 1978; two daughters, Terri Schehl of Texas, Leanna Casteel of Alliance, Ohio; one son, Pete (Mary Jo Goss) Schehl of East Canton, Ohio; one brother, Cecil Smittle of Duffy, Ohio; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

     There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
