Barbara L. Hill

     Barbara L. Hill, 68, of Summerfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

     She was born at Pine Knot, Kentucky on March 27, 1958 a daughter of the late George Beard and Beulah Neal Beard Davidson.

     Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, fishing, and doing crafts.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Allen Ray Stephens; two brothers, Bruce Beard and Ben Davidson.

     Surviving are her husband, Edsel Hill; one son, Walter Leroy Stephens; sisters, Shirley Myers, Lana Meadows, Debbie Gibbs, Sheila Dople; one brother, Bryan Beard; two half-brothers, Junior Beard, Robert Davidson; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

     Cremation will be observed with inurnment at the Hayes Creek Cemetery, Osborne Creek, Kentucky at a later date.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
