Bernice Howell

     Bernice Howell, 90, of Woodsfield, Ohio (formerly of Dallas, Texas) passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

     She was born in Tennessee on December 24, 1928 a daughter of the late William and Bernice Smith Pope.

     She was a retired bank employee in Dallas, Texas and was a Presbyterian by faith. She enjoyed reading books which was the love of her life.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Howell; a brother, Bill Pope; two sisters, Kathleen Lyons and Pat

     Surviving are two sons, Paul “Andy” (Debbie) Howell of Woodsfield, Ohio, Thomas (Sally) Howell of Garland, Texas; one sister, Audrey Morgan of Middlefield, Ohio; two brothers, Jim Pope of New Hampshire, Daniel Pope of Tiffin, Ohio.

     There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
