Bette M. Hoffert

     Bette M. Hoffert, 71, of Summerfield, Ohio passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Altercare Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell, Ohio.

     She was born near Senecaville, Ohio on November 7, 1950 a daughter of the late Forest Kermit Leach and Ella Mae Starr Leach Flood.

     She was a former bartender, beautician and a home health aide.  She formerly attended Summerfield Church of Christ, Summerfield, Ohio.  Bette enjoyed baking, cooking, attending community functions and helping with funeral dinners.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Buchtel and her step-dad, Mansel Flood.

     Surviving are a son Gregory Hoffert of Summerfield, Ohio; two brothers, Tom Leach of Senecaville, Ohio; Dave (Sue) Leach of Belle Valley, Ohio.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday January 20, 2022 where funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Jimmie Moore officiating.

     Following services a cremation will take place with inurnment at the convenience of the family.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
