Betty S. Hruska

Betty S. Hruska, 86, of Mentor, Ohio (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Governors Place Assisted Living, Mentor, Ohio.

She was born at Cleveland, Ohio on July 1, 1935 a daughter of the late Nicholas and Bertha Gall Vargo.

She was a former machine operator for Parker Hannifin, Cleveland, Ohio working in the Plating Division for over 30 years. She was a Catholic by faith. Betty was known for her good sense of humor and positive outlook on life. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed going on day trips with her friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip G. Hruska on July 4, 2013; a son, Anthony Hruska; three siblings, Nicholas, Irene and Helen.

Surviving are a daughter, Kim (Jack) Drennan of Lakewood, Ohio; a son, Philip (Fion) Hruska of Mentor, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at St. Sylvester Catholic Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
