Betty J. Wittenbrook

     Betty J. Wittenbrook, 96, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     She was born at Akron, Ohio on September 14, 1929 a daughter of the late Howard and Stella Reed Archer.

     Betty was a retired secretary for the Continental Can Company, Cambridge, Ohio and was a former teller at the Woodsfield Savings and Loan, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio and was a 60 year member of the Order of Eastern Star #268, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Wittenbrook on November 16, 2017; a son, Bryan Wittenbrook; two sisters, Ruth Hartshorn and Donna Knowlton; a brother, James Archer; and a granddaughter, Sheena Wittenbrook.

     Surviving are a daughter, Susan (Richard) Ferguson of Woodsfield, Ohio; a son, Neal (Jenny) Wittenbrook of Woodsfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Nathan (Lauren) Wittenbrook, Maranda (Zack) Wittenbrook Paschal and two great-grandchildren, Byron and Stella Wittenbrook.

     A private visitation will be held at the Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio with burial to follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio.
