Carl L. Winland

     Carl L. Winland, 80, of Graysville, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 near Graysville, Ohio at the home of his son, Tim.

     He was born at Graysville, Ohio on December 8, 1945 a son of the late Vernon “Peanut” and Grethel Smith Winland.

     He was a retired steel worker at the former Ormet Corporation at Hannibal, Ohio. He was a member of the Graysville Church of Christ, Graysville, Ohio.

     He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and many years ago he also enjoyed hunting.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Weckbacher Winland; three brothers, Floyd, Walter and Roy Winland.

     Surviving are two sons, Tim (Anna) Winland of Graysville, Ohio, Robert (Carolyn) Winland of London, Ohio; two sisters, Norma Jean Pentello of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Pam Winland of Woodsfield, Ohio; one brother, Don (Brenda) Winland of Ashland, Ohio; five grandchildren, Bobby Jr., Brook and Monica, Justin and Jacob; two great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Ila Mae Winland of Ashland, Ohio.

     There will be no visitation. A cremation will take place with inurnment at the convenience of the family.
