Charity Sue Hooper

     Charity Sue Hooper, 76, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at her home.

     She was born near Woodsfield, Ohio on February 19, 1949, a daughter of the late Lloyd C. “Foxy” Dailey and Mary Willison Dailey.

     Sue was a former receptionist and a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hooper on February 20, 2020.

   Surviving are two sons, Kurt (Renee) Hooper and Todd (Missy) Hooper, of the Antioch community; one sister, Bonnie (John) Giesy of South Carolina; one brother, Jerry (Wanda) Dailey of Pickerington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Brock Price, Levi Hooper, Erica Carte, Brittany Frank and Jarett Hooper and several great-grandchildren.

     Abiding by Sue’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A cremation will take place with inurnment to be held at the Antioch Cemetery at a later date.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
