Charlotte J. Greathouse

Charlotte J. Greathouse, 84, of Bridgeport, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Arbors of Woodsfield, Ohio.

She was born at New Martinsville, West Virginia on November 10, 1941 a daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn Travis Dennis

She was a former housekeeper for the Travelers Inn, New Martinsville, West Virginia and was a Senior Soldier of the Salvation Army, Bellaire, Ohio.

She enjoyed plastic canvassing and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Greathouse and a son David Lee Greathouse; three sisters, Delores Lipscombs, Margaret Gray and Katherine Muncie; two brothers, Luther and Melvin Dennis.

Surviving are one son, Roy Greathouse; one sister Laverna Neff; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield Ohio from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday November 15, 2025 with Rusty Atkinson officiating.

A cremation will take place with inurnment at the convenience of the family.
