David S. Rinkes

David S. Rinkes, 66, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at his home.

He was born at Martins Ferry, Ohio on May 8, 1958 a son of the late Ruth Secoy Rinkes.

David was a former truck driver for 32 years. He was a pastor serving various Methodist Churches throughout the area.

He enjoyed spending time with his animals especially his cats.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Marlene Patterson Rinkes of the home. One son Chuck (Amanda) Rinkes of Morgantown, W. Va.;  one brother Tom (Patty) Rinkes of Martins Ferry, Ohio; one grandson, Benjamin David Rinkes and one on the way.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Porter officiating.

Inurnment will follow at the convenience of the family.
