Deborah Ann Woodby

     Deborah Ann “Deb” Woodby, 63, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at the WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, West Virginia.

     She was born at Maryville, Tennessee on July 2, 1961 a daughter of the late Herbert Woodby and Peggy Webb Woodby Weiss.

     Deb was a 1979 graduate of Woodsfield High School and was a retired crane operator (19 years) at the former Conalco Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio. She was also a former manager at the Switzerland of Ohio Golf Course and the Marathon, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     Deb also enjoyed traveling to the West Virginia mountains in her spare time.

     Surviving are her significant other and sweetheart of 40 years, Mark “Groucho” Hudson of Woodsfield, Ohio; two brothers, Herb (Andrea) Woodby of Byesville, Ohio, Jeff (Catherine) Woodby of Beallsville, Ohio; two nephews, Joshua (Jana) Woodby, Tyler (Nicole) Woodby; two nieces, Jennifer Woodby, Jaclyn (Josh) Sturgell; several great nieces and nephews.

      There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

      Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
