Debra Jo Longwell

Debra Jo (Stewart) Longwell, of Sardis, Ohio passed away at her home on Christmas evening, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.

Debra was born on August 27, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio.

Debbie was preceded in death, by both her parents, Carl and JoAnn (Raver) Stewart; two sons, Jeremy Stewart & Charles (Chucky) Longwell II, of whom both died in infancy; one sister, Penny (Stewart) Caldwell; a step-brother, Robert Stewart II; and three husbands, Blaine Stewart, Robert Hennessee and Danny Longwell.

She is survived by three children, Carl Stewart Jr., Virginia (Hennessee) Wellman and Anthony Longwell all of Sardis, Ohio; two sisters, Nancy (Stewart) and Gary Hoskinson of Woodsfield, Ohio and Carline (Stewart) Callahan of Obetz, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Debbie also raised three great-nieces and helped raise 8 of her grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

Debbie was a very loving woman and mother, her family was her life. She always looked forward to the summer months, because her grandkids would always come and spend the summer with her. She was always happiest when they were around.

Debbie also loved to travel, especially to the ocean, where she loved being on the beach. She received a lot of pleasure from reading, watching the birds, her flowers and collecting Barbie dolls. May she finally rest in peace, in that big garden.

No visitation or services will be held.

At the wishes of Debbie, a cremation will take place with an inurnment to be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
