Donald C. Bowman

     Donald C. Bowman, 85, of Jerusalem, Ohio (Malaga Community) passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at his home.

     He was born at Wadsworth, Ohio on December 27, 1936 a son of the late Clayton Fredrick Bowman and Viola Canfield Bowman.

      He was a former retail manager at the former K-V Store, Woodsfield, Ohio and retired from Riesbeck’s Food Market, Woodsfield, Ohio. He was also a U.S. Army and Navy veteran serving in Germany.

     Don enjoyed camping, golfing, fishing and bowling.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Bowman on January 3, 2019 and a brother, Richard Bowman in 2003.

     Surviving are two sons, David Lee (Maureen) Bowman of Allen, Texas, Dwight (Connie) Bowman of Galena, Ohio; one step-daughter, Janice (James) Hammond of Athens, Alabama; one sister, Beverly Wolf of Wadsworth, Ohio; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 with Pastor Christy Thomas officiating.

     Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
