Obituary
Donald Hugh Persinger, 85, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 14 , 2022 near Woodsfield, Ohio following injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was born at Cresap, West Virginia on July 10, 1937 a son of the late Hugh Edgar Persinger and Wilda Mabel Sims Persinger who survives of Bellaire, Ohio.
He was a retired machinist for Mobay/Bayer, New Martinsville, West Virginia and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister and his companion Martha Dawson.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are one daughter, Michelle (Rob) Matuga of Gaithersburg, Maryland; one son, Michael; one brother, Philip Persinger of Florida and three grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or service.
Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville, West Virginia at a later date.
