Donna Christy Baker

     Donna Christy Baker, 92, of Dayton, Ohio (formerly of New Albany and Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the Carlyle House Assisted Living, Dayton, Ohio.

     She was born at Woodsfield, Ohio on November 23, 1932, a daughter of the late Thomas Abner Christy and Freda Edith Mobberly Christy.

     She earned her BA, LLB and JD degrees from The Ohio State University in 1969 and devoted over three decades to her career as an attorney, combining her passion for learning with a deep dedication to helping others.

     A devoted follower of the Lord from the age of 10, Donna’s faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She was a faithful member of her church community and had a lifelong love of horses.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen “Bo” Baker; her siblings, Ethel R. Dougherty, Marjorie M.C. Scott, Robert Forest Christy, Shirley S. Weagle and Tommy Lee Christy.

      Though Donna and her husband did not have children of their own, they were loving parents to many, nurturing and supporting those around then.

     She is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

     Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
