Doris A. Haynes

     Doris A. Haynes, 97, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday, December 11, 2020.

    She was born at Somerton, Ohio on April 21, 1923 a daughter of the late Robert Jesse and Lena Baricklow Gibbons.

     Doris was a former seamstress at the former L.G.A.M, Woodsfield, Ohio and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Woodsfield. Ohio. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 206, Barnesville, Ohio. She enjoyed cross-stitch, embroidery and feeding the deer at her home.

     She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Haynes; a sister, Hester Sawvel and a brother, Robert Gibbons; two nephews, Charles and James Gibbons.

     Several great nieces and nephews survive.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 with Rev. David Cottrill officiating, where social distancing will be observed and face coverings are encouraged. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
