Doris Jean Lude

Doris Jean Lude, 83, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Arbors of Woodsfield, Ohio.

She was born at Beallsville, Ohio on July 1, 1939, a daughter of the late Floyd and Lucinda Stewart Ault.

Doris was a former nursing assistant at the former Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, Ohio and was a member of the Jackson Ridge Church of Christ near Woodsfield, Ohio and the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lude on July 1, 2014; two brothers, Stephen Daniel Ault in infancy and Robert “Bob” Dale Ault; a brother-in-law, James Mercer Jr.

Surviving are one son, Timothy (Jodee) Lude of Woodsfield, Ohio; one sister, Betty Mercer of Jerusalem, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Austin and Marley Lude; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  and 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 21, 2023 with Keith Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, Ohio.
