Edward C. Knott, 63, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Valley Hospice at Trinity West, Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born at Akron, Ohio on August 8, 1957 a son of the late Edward Knott and Betty Welker Manley who survives of Woodsfield, Ohio.
He was a former orderly at the Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio; graduate of Buckeye School of Horsemanship and was a former truck driver and was owner of Trinity Transport, Woodsfield, Ohio. He attended the New Martinsville Church of God, New Martinsville, West Virginia. He enjoyed doing paint ball, fishing, racing dirt bikes, horseback riding and camping.
Surviving in addition to his mother are one daughter, Elizabeth (Bryan) Handzus of Benwood, West Virginia; one son, Edward Knott of Lake City, Florida; three sisters, Dottie DeJesus of Woodsfield, Ohio, Sandra (Joe) Perebzak of Batesville, Ohio, Angela Bashline of South Carolina; a granddaughter, Harper Handzus; two step-grandchildren, Landon Handzus, Quinn Handzus.
There will be no visitation.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
