Emily Ann Hartshorn

    Emily Ann Hartshorn, 86, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 surrounded with her family by her side at the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     She was born at Low Gap, Ohio on August 26, 1935 a daughter of the late Everett and Waife Cline Smith.

     Emily was a former real estate broker with Country Network and was a member of the Woodsfield Christian Church, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, camping and spending time with family.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deb Schumacher; an infant son, Terry Hartshorn; three brothers, Howard, Kenneth and Gene Smith.  One sister, Ethel Smith; a grandson, Daniel Ludwig; a son-in-law, Glenn Ludwig.

     Surviving are her husband, Donald Hartshorn whom she married on January 21, 1956. Two daughters Cheryl Ludwig of Woodsfield, Ohio, Julie Winland of Coshocton, Ohio, a son-in-law Perry Schumacher of Woodsfield, Ohio. Seven Grandchildren, Jason Ludwig, Brad (Dr. Alicia) Ludwig, Allison (Andrew) Jaszcak, Aaron (Jerrica) Winland, Andrew (Lynsey) Schumacher, Leah (Cass) Clift, Kelly Winland and her companion Rob Lumbatis. Seven great grandchildren, Lacy Ludwig, Lawson Ludwig, Ivory Ludwig, Rylar Clift, Makenna Clift, Ariana Winland and Malcom Schumacher and several nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received at Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio on Sunday November 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. with Herb Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
