Frances Kay Henthorn, 82, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Newark, Ohio.
She was born near New Matamoras, Ohio on July 24, 1941 a daughter of the late Norman and Hilda Edinger Ridgeway.
She was a 1959 graduate of the former New Matamoras High School. She was a former employee of the former K-V Store, Woodsfield, Ohio. She attended the Lewisville United Methodist Church, Lewisville, Ohio. She was also a member of the former Rebekah Lodge, Lewisville, Ohio.
Kay enjoyed doing puzzles, deer hunting, squirrel hunting, and playing Monopoly with her grandchildren and letting them win.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Henthorn on March 14, 2016 and a sister, Garnet Maloney.
Surviving are one daughter, Jill (Mike) Taylor of Pickerington, Ohio; two sisters, Glenda Thomas of Woodsfield, Ohio, Laverna Holdren of New Matamoras, Ohio; two grandchildren, Corey (Tori) Taylor of Bluffton, South Carolina, Rachel Taylor of Pickerington, Ohio; one great-grandson, Cash Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be at the New Matamoras Cemetery, New Matamoras, Ohio.
