Franklin D. Love, 67, of Parkersburg, West Virginia (formerly of Chandlersville, Ohio) passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 at the WVU Camden-Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, West Virginia after a hard fought battle leading to heart failure.
He was born at Marietta, Ohio on March 25, 1957 a son of the late Franklin D.R. Love and Opal Jean Crum Love.
Frank was a man of many talents including being a mechanic and D.J.
He was a member of the Rosemar Church of Christ, Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Frank enjoyed fishing, woodworking and watching westerns on T.V. He was also an avid O.S.U and Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Love; a brother, John Love; a sister, Susan Love and his former wife, Rebecca Love.
Surviving are a daughter, Stevie (Bryan) Cavender of Williamstown, West Virginia; a son, Franklin James Love of Morgantown, West Virginia; a brother, Tom Love of Chandlersville, Ohio and two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Makayla Cavender.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 with Jimmie Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, Ohio.
