Gary L. Holland

     Gary L. Holland, 73, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his home.

     He was born in Marietta, Ohio on September 26, 1950 a son of the late Clifford Dale Holland and Bessie Kuhn Holland.

     Gary was a retired employee of the former Ormet Corp., Hannibal, Ohio and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.

     Gary enjoyed hunting, motorcycle riding, toys, watching westerns, spending time with family and making people laugh.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, James Allen Holland and Christopher Michael Holland; two brothers, John and Kenneth Holland and two sisters, Hazel Stark and Evelyn Phillips.

     Surviving are his wife, Janet Davis Holland whom he married on November 19, 1969; one daughter, Kimberly Holland of Tusky, Ohio; one son, Timothy (Suzanne) Holland of New Martinsville, West Virginia; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-grandson.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023 where military and funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 with Scott McFarland officiating.

     Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Lebanon, Ohio.
