Geneva Helen Crum, 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.
She was born near Harriettsville, Ohio on September 3, 1933 a daughter of the late Heman Franklin Smith and Erma VanFossen Smith.
Geneva was a retired employee of the Monroe County Clerk of Courts, Woodsfield Ohio and a member of the Newport Church of Christ, Newport, Ohio and also attended the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was a member of the World Bible School.
She enjoyed sewing, art, crocheting and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Franklin and Earl Smith, one sister, June Leeper.
Surviving are three daughters Deborah (Robert) Haney of Newport, Ohio, Brenda (Joe) Steinhoff of Claysville, Ohio , and Rebecca “Becky” (Lloyd) Morris of Stafford, Ohio. One sister Mary Ann (Lester) Mallett of New Concord, Ohio. One brother Don (Mary) Smith of Marietta, Ohio. Nine Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2021 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, with Lloyd Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, Ohio.
In keeping with COVID-19 mandates, face masks and social distancing will be required at the visitation and funeral services.
