Gregory P. Marshall

      Gregory P. Marshall, 75, of Graysville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at his home.

      He was born at Marr, Ohio on October 21, 1950 a son of the late Paul and Bernice Winland Marshall.

      He was a 1968 graduate of Skyvue High School near Graysville, Ohio and was a 1972 graduate of Kent State University, Kent, Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Park Management and Recreation. Greg retired from the Tennessee State Department of Children’s Services. He was a member of the Lebanon Methodist Church, where he served as a trustee and led Bible study and was a member of the Monroe County Beekeepers Association.

      Greg enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family.

      In addition to his parents he was preceded by a sister, Melody Moore and her husband, Eugene; a brother, Stephen Marshall and his partner, Melissa Males; and a niece, Jamie Gehrig.

      Surviving are his wife, Catherine Greenwood Marshall whom he married on October 14, 1978; two daughters, Cara (Brad) Cowden of Severna Park, Maryland, Christin Marshall and her husband, David Quinn of Bourne, Massachusetts; two brothers, Mike (Julie) Marshall of Graysville, Ohio, Kevin (Rhonda) Marshall of Lewisville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Bennett Cowden and Blythe Cowden; several nieces and nephews.

      Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 6, 2026 with Kim Smith and Chris Wells officiating.

     Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
