Harold L. Dickerson Jr., 82, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio.
He was born at Barnesville, Ohio on April 23, 1943 a son of the late Harold and Ella Bean Dickerson.
Harold was a retired employee of the Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
He enjoyed camping, gambling and fishing. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Frazee Dickerson on December 21, 1998; one sister, Shirley Moran and one brother, Robert Dickerson; a great-grandson, Ryker Carpenter and a sister-in-law, Dar Zwick.
Surviving are one daughter, Debbie Kinney of Woodsfield, Ohio; one son, David (Cindy) Dickerson of Zanesville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Emily Kinney, Timothy Kinney, Tyler Kinney, Gage Dickerson, Courtney Carpenter; fourteen great-grandchildren; one nephew and two nieces.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 10:30 a.m. until time of military and funeral services at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, with Rusty Atkinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
