Hayden H. Shrock

Hayden H. Shrock, 86, of New Matamoras, Ohio stepped into the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 24, 2021 at his home.

He was born at Akron, Ohio on June 18, 1935 a son of the late Hayden H. Shrock and Lucille Langfells Shrock.

He was a retired ultrasound testing technician for Babcock and Wilcox, Barberton, Ohio for 36 years. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church near Brownsville, Ohio.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and boating.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Leona R. Cline Shrock; three sons, Hayden Jr. (Gretchen) Shrock of Akron, Ohio, Bryon (Jessica) Shrock of Akron, Ohio, David (Michelle) Shrock of New Matamoras, Ohio; one sister, Carol Lee Derry of Norton, Ohio; a niece, LouAnne Derry of Florida; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Rebekah (Donnie), Nathaniel (Gina), Elena, Andrew, Aaron, Abraham and Adam; five great-grandchildren, Devyn, Haidyn, Audrianna, Yukari and Takoda.

Friends will be received at the Harmony Hill Baptist Church, 41051 Trail Run Road, New Matamoras, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2021 with Pastor Todd Lockyer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Low Gap Cemetery, Cline, Ohio.
