James H. Catchpool, 83, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 15, 1935 a son of the late Hubert and Chloe Pearl Denney Catchpool.
James was a retired sales representative and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Catchpool.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Patricia Catchpool of Woodsfield, Ohio; two daughters, Jana Catchpool of Miamisburg, Ohio and Jill (Michael) Bartolotta of Centerville, Ohio; one son, James (Windi) Catchpool of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, Michele (Joe) Leber of Miamisburg, Ohio, Alison (Dane) Fienning of Hamilton, Ohio, Sophia Bartolotta of Chicago, Illinois, Maggie Bartolotta of Centerville, Ohio, Seth Catchpool and Brock Catchpool, both of Austin, Texas; three great grandchildren, Ben and Addison Leber of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Launa Fienning of Hamilton, Ohio.
There will be no visitation. Following cremation, inurnment will be held at the Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
