James E. “Bud” Cline, 75, of Newark, Ohio (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at the home of his daughter.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on August 8, 1943 a son of the late Edgar and Ruth Marie McKelvey Cline.
He was a retired foreman at the former Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio; a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion, Zephyrhills, Florida.
Bud enjoyed cooking and spending time in his man shed.
Surviving are one daughter, Samantha (Mike) Shaner of Newark, Ohio; one sister, Marcia Shipp of Woodsfield, Ohio; one half-brother, Edgar Cline Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia; and one granddaughter, Maddison Hudson of Terra Alta, West Virginia.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until time of military and memorial services at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2019.
Private inurnment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
