Janet J. Isaly

     Janet J. Isaly, 92, of Sardis, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     She was born at Sardis, Ohio on April 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Darrell F. Jackson and Francis Doty Jackson.

     Janet was a homemaker; a member of the Sardis United Methodist Church, member of the Clarington Eastern Star and served on several committees in the Sardis community.

     She enjoyed reading, flower gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lloyd Isaly on June 28, 1994; two sisters, Wilma Potts and Lois Murphy and two brothers, Ronald Jackson and Sonny Jackson.

     Surviving are one daughter, Janine (Tim) Reagan of Woodsfield, Ohio; one son, Dan Isaly and Kelly of Woodsfield, Ohio; one sister, Darlene Boston of New Matamoras, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Danielle (Rick) Russell; Tim (Staci) Isaly; Jessica (Ken) Hsiao, Dana Isaly and Christopher Jackson; Hunter Thomas, Alexis (Cedric) Wankam, Trevor (Maggie) Hendershot; several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

     Friends will be received at the Sardis United Methodist Church, 37240 5th Avenue, Sardis, Ohio from noon until time of funeral services at 3:00 p.m., Friday July 17, 2026, with Jim Miller officiating.

     Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery, Sardis, Ohio.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
