Janet C. Mercer

Janet C. Mercer, 73, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Arbors of Woodsfield, Ohio.

She was born at Barnesville, Ohio on February 28, 1948 a daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Williams Winland.

Janet was the owner of the former JKL Sub Station and was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, Woodsfield, Ohio, where she was also a member of the United Methodist Womens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Winland.

Surviving are two daughters, Kelly (Mike) Knuchel of Lancaster, Ohio and Lisa (Shawn) Bishop of Lower Salem, Ohio; one sister, Sue (Wayne) Orr of Pickerington, Ohio; one granddaughter, Haylee Bishop; and a sister-in-law, Martha Winland of St. Petersburg, Florida.

There will be no visitation or service. A private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
