Janice Kay Lumbatis

Janice Kay Willis Brown Lumbatis, 79, passed away peacefully on  July 4, 2025.

She was the youngest of 7 children born to George and Thelma Willis.  Preceding her in death were brothers Bob and Tom Willis and sister’s Doris Masher, Norma Miller and Inez Dalrymple.  She is survived by sister, Pat Skok. 

Janice was married to Theodore Lee Brown whom she lost in 1979.  Together they had three children. Ritchie Brown (Heather Persinger), Theodore Brown (Shannon) and Kristal Coleman (Mike). She was later married to Richard Lumbatis whom she lost in 2021 after 36 years of marriage.  She had two step children Keisha Colson and Kyle Lumbatis.

Her most loved role in life was being a grandma to Kaelee Brown Benkovich, Leekycia Brown (Jessica Cole) , Emma Betts (Matthew Farrell), Anna Reusser (Brandon) and Tucker Boggs.

Per Janice’s wishes a cremation will take place and no services are to be held..  Her care is  entrusted to Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
