Jay M. Stanley

     Jay M. Stanley, 92, of New Matamoras, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his home.

     He was born at Syracuse, New York on November 16, 1930 a son of the late Abraham Silberman and Minerva Salzman.

     He was a former computer analyst and retired as a jewelry wholesaler. Jay was a former volunteer fire fighter in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was also a board member of the Monroe County POW WOW and was known as Gray Wolf.

     Surviving are his wife, Maria Ferrero Stanley; three daughters, Mikki Boyd of Seattle, Washington, Gina Brent of Washington, Bettina Stanley of Whitehall Pennsylvania; two sons, Michael Stanley of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, Kenneth Stanley of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

     There will be no visitation or service. Following cremation, inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
