Joan P. Roe

 Joan P. Roe, 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio and Pompano Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Hospice By The Sea, Boca Raton, Florida.

          She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 17, 1931 a daughter of the late George L. and Myrtle M. Hoskins Day.

          Joan was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John I. Roe on January 12, 2017 and a daughter, Debra Vanwy Marling.

          Surviving are a daughter, Penny Sue (Cecil) Crum of Pompano Beach, Florida; two grandchildren, Jonathan Crum and Samantha Crum.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 with Pastor Rodney West officiating.

          Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, Ohio.
