Jonathan M. Kinney

     Jonathan M. Kinney, 33, of Sarahsville, Ohio (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his home.

     He was born at Anderson, South Carolina on August 4, 1992 a son of Jay Kinney who survives of Woodsfield, Ohio.

     He was a heavy equipment operator and a former member of the IUOE Local 18. Jonathan was also a member of the Graysville Church of Christ, Graysville, Ohio.

     Jonathan enjoyed hunting, spending time with family and friends and riding his side by side.

     In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Courtney Eibel Kinney; one daughter, Madison Kinney; two step-sons, Benton Miller, Parker Eibel; one brother, Justin Kinney; two sisters, Jerrica (Shane) Conley and Maria (Kayla) Thompson; two nieces, Jayda and Haven; one nephew, Remington; two uncles, Brent and John Kinney; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Garey and Trista Eibel; several cousins and friends throughout the area and extended family in South Carolina.

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Jr. and Velma Kinney.

     Cremation will be observed and a memorial visitation will take place at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026.

     In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, memorial contributions may be made to the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio to assist the family with final expenses.
