Joseph "Joe" U. Hupp

     Joseph U. “Joe” Hupp, 61, of Summerfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his home.

     He was born at Marietta, Ohio on March 24, 1961 a son of the late Albert and Irene Archer Hupp.

     Joe was a retired employee of the former Texas Eastern Transmission Co. and enjoyed spending time on his farm.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Temperanceville, Ohio.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ricky;  a brother, William “Bill” Hupp and a brother-in-law, Richard Knight.

     Surviving are his wife, Davina Hill Hupp whom he married on October 11, 1986; three sons, Jacob Hupp and his companion McKenzie Bear, Ethan Hupp, Blake Hupp all of the home; a daughter, Hannah Hupp of the home; four sisters, Janie (Billie) Harris of Columbus, Ohio; Josephine Knight of Columbus, Ohio; Julia (Ronald) Saling of Caldwell, Ohio; Diane (Gary) Cox of Columbus, Ohio, four brothers, Robert (Anna) Hupp of Belle Valley, Ohio; Phil Hupp of Summerfield, Ohio; James (Theresa) Hupp of Carlisle, Ohio; John (Cheryl) Hupp of Sarahsville, Ohio; a sister-in-law Debbie Hupp of Caldwell, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April, 28, 2022 with vigil services at 7:30 p.m.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 29, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Temperanceville, Ohio with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik and Rev. Fr. David Cornett as con-celebrants.

    Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
