Joyce Lea (Ault) Helmick

Joyce Lea Ault Helmick, 67, of Columbus, Ohio (formerly of Monroe County, Ohio) passed away Thursday evening, July 11, 2024 at her home.

She was born at Barnesville, Ohio a daughter of the late Hilbert Lee Ault and Eleanor Jean Kibble Ault.

Joyce was a 1975 graduate of River High School, Hannibal, Ohio and was a retired customer service representative of CWI Gifts, Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Ault Jones.

Surviving are a daughter, Adele (Luke) Moorehead of Jackson, Michigan; one sister, Denise (Steve) Harris of Woodsfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Luke Moorehead II, Jocelyn Moorehead; several nieces and nephews.

As per Joyce’s wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
