Joyce D. Miller

     Joyce D. Miller, 69, of Whipple, Ohio passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Arbors of Woodsfield, Ohio.

     She was born at Sistersville, West Virginia on May 4, 1956, a daughter of the late Carl and Wilma Mae Henthorn Ludolph.

     Joyce was a former deli worker at the Warren’s IGA, Marietta, Ohio and former courier and housekeeper at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Fly, Ohio.

     She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Miller; a brother, Carl Ludolph Jr.; a stepson, Lorren Miller; three sisters-in-law, Bonnie Ludolph, Joyce Ludolph and Patty Ludolph.

     Surviving are her fiancé, Mike Polk of Whipple, Ohio; one sister, Pam (Paul) Sparkman of Woodsfield, Ohio; two brothers, Robert Ludolph of Wadsworth, Ohio, Randall Ludolph of Sardis, Ohio; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from noon until time of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 with Rev. David Michael officiating.

     Burial will follow in the Mehrley Cemetery, Fly, Ohio.
