Joyce Ann Stimpert

Joyce Ann Stimpert, 60, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the home of her daughter in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

She was born at Barnesville, Ohio on July 21, 1961 a daughter of the late Robert and Shirley Prickett Stimpert.

Joyce was a former STNA at the former Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, Ohio and also at Emerald Pointe, Barnesville, Ohio. She was a Christian by faith; enjoyed gardening, working with the Activities Department at the nursing home and spending time with her four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Stimpert; a niece, Kristy Friday and a brother-in-law, Harold Reynolds.

Surviving are two daughters, Jani Lynn Wheeler of Woodsfield, Ohio and Jodi Lynn (Doug) Frye of St. Clairsville, Ohio; one sister, Kathy Reynolds of Lewisville, Ohio; five brothers, Robert B. (Penny) Stimpert of Lewisville, Ohio, Mike (Sue) Stimpert of Malaga, Ohio; Darrell (Cheryl) Stimpert of Lewisville, Ohio; Tim (Angie) Stimpert of Lewisville, Ohio, Jim (Sami) Stimpert of Lewisville, Ohio; four grandchildren; Emma Jean Wheeler, Ethan Robert Wheeler, Simon Isaiah Douglas Frye and Brooke Olivia Lynn Frye; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 with Keith Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio.
